The practical details about publishing, viewing, privacy, controls, and plans.
Gallmo combines browser-based 3D photo and video galleries with Gallmo Playground, a collection of camera-powered gesture games. Galleries turn a collection into a spatial scene; Playground turns your hands into live effects, character controls, and physics interactions.
When the gallery is ready, publish it from Gallmo Studio. Gallmo creates one unlisted gallery link that you can send directly to guests. If you add password protection, share the password separately. Guests do not need an account or a separate app.
Yes. In Gallery actions, set a password of at least eight characters before or after publishing. A protected gallery asks each viewer for that password and remembers successful access in that browser for seven days. Changing or removing the password takes effect immediately; changing it also invalidates earlier browser access.
Published galleries run in a modern browser with WebGL. Viewers can use a mouse, keyboard, or touch controls. For a shared-room experience, open the gallery on a laptop and connect it to a TV or projector.
Gallery browsing does not require a camera: mouse, keyboard, and touch controls remain available. Camera-based hand gestures are optional in a gallery, but the Effect Frame game in Gallmo Playground does require camera permission. Camera frames stay in your browser and are not uploaded.
Yes. Gallmo can place photos and video poster frames together in the 3D scene, then open video in the media view for playback.
Yes. Choose the gallery arrangement, visual theme, card treatment, centerpiece, guided tour behavior, title visibility, and optional ambient music before publishing.
Yes. Gallmo's gallery Game Hub includes Photo Simon, This or That, Guess the Moment, and Popping Photos. Kids and grown-ups can point, click, or take turns together. Game Hub is part of the gallery viewer rather than a separate child account; an adult should open the gallery and supervise its sharing settings.
A published gallery is unlisted and uses a hard-to-guess link. You can also require a gallery password, so the link alone is not enough to open it. A recipient can still forward the link and password, so share both carefully. Unpublishing stops all access immediately.
Each gallery has its own plan, term, and media capacity. Gallmo Playground is separate: guests can play for 10 minutes per rolling 24 hours, free accounts receive 30 minutes, and an active gallery subscription or the $12 USD/month Playground-only plan grants unlimited Playground access.
The marketing and Studio interfaces use semantic headings and controls, visible keyboard focus, skip navigation, strong text contrast, and reduced-motion support. Gallery viewing does not require a camera, and standard keyboard, mouse, and touch controls remain available.
No. Gallmo is designed for presentation and sharing. Keep your original photo and video files in a separate, dependable backup as well.
